Purchase Ledger Clerk 
 
Due to internal progression, the Cairn Hotel Group is looking to appoint Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our expanding finance team.  

 

 

 Duties for Purchase Ledger Clerk would include:

 

·          Processing and entering invoices onto Sage 200 

·          Statement reconciliation 

·          Preparation of invoices for payment 

·          Invoice filing 

·          To attend all queries from suppliers regarding their outstanding payments

 

 

Skills required for the position:

 

·          Ideally have worked in an accounts department before although not a necessity

·          Possess good word and excel skills

·          Good knowledge of Sage 200 would be helpful but not necessary

·          Have a keen eye for detail and accuracy as it is important that nothing gets missed

·          Keep calm under pressure

·          Ability to work as part of a team

·          Have confidence with numbers

·          Show patience, tact and determination to achieve a resolution to situations as swiftly as possible

·          Excellent interpersonal skills are required

·          Good awareness of deadlines

·          Completeness and compliance with procedures are essential at all times

·          Being focused and organised

·          Able to communicate at all levels
